Clinton Kelly from the TV show What Not To Wear is coming to the New Orleans area as part of the "Macy's & Clinton Kelly Make Over America" tour. If you need a style overhaul, you could be one of 15 people who win a makeover by Kelly at Macy's (Lakeside Shopping Center, 3301 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metarie, 484-4600). Visit www.macys.com/makeoveramerica to enter. Casting for a fashion show to be held at Macy's in October closes on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

Basics Underneath (5513 Magazine St., 894-1000) and Wacoal will host a Fi(gh)t for the Cure event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. For every woman who participates, Wacoal will donate $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure (877-GO-KOMEN; www.komen.org) breast cancer research and outreach programs. Wacoal will donate an additional $2 for every Wacoal bra, shapewear garment or b.tempt'd bra purchased at the event.

You can shop at a craft market of items from New Orleans Craft Mafia artists (www.neworleanscraftmafia.com) and learn about independent craft in the documentary Handmade Nation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at the Delgado Community College Student Life Center (615 City Park Ave., 671-5000; www.dcc.edu). Director Faythe Levine will attend the event, which is sponsored by the Irma Thomas Center for W.I.S.E. (Women In Search of Excellence) and the New Orleans Craft Mafia.
