La Fin Du Monde is a Belgian-style tripel (which used to mean a strong ale) that has an ABV (alcohol by volume) of 9 percent. Translated as "The End of the World," this beer was brewed "in honor of the intrepid European explorers who believed they had reached the 'end of the world' when they discovered a 'new world,' later called America." Smooth and slightly tart with balanced flavors of wild spices, malt and hops, this brew pairs well with gourmet dishes and aged cheeses. It is best served out of a snifter glass or a chalice. Duvel is a Belgian Strong Pale Ale (ABV 8.5 percent) brewed by Brouwerij Duvel Moortgat NV in Belgium. Duvel, which means "devil," is a unique beer with a fruity aroma and a perfect balance of sweet malts and hop bitterness. This beer pairs well with food and is a good digestif. It is a dark, rich brew with a complex mix of roasted malts and floral hoppiness. Celebrator pairs well with German dishes, chocolate and buttery cheeses such as Brie or Gouda. It has a wonderful balance between caramel maltiness and upfront floral spice, and it finishes with pleasing sweetness. Hopback Amber is best served with red meats and strong cheeses.
