Longtime New Orleanian Taylor Morris completed his triology All the Clouds'll Roll Away (Gap Mountain Press) with the final installment Dreams to Life. The series follows the wide-eyed adventures of a young New Orleanian who dreams of flying planes and enlists in World War II as a pilot. The story echoes some of Morris' own experiences as a Marine Corps pilot and also captures the city in the 1920s and '30s. He's spent his civilian life teaching and writing. He reads from his work at couple events this week. Free admission. — Will Coviello
