Thru Aug 22 | While attempting to document a massive wave of political repression that resulted in the murder of more than half a million Indonesians in the mid-1960s, director Joshua Oppenheimer hit upon a jarring and far more direct approach: Have the death squad leaders recreate and film their own mass killings in movie genres of their choosing.
