Preview: The Amazing Acro-Cats

Will Coviello on the trained felines making their return to Shadowbox Theatre

The Amazing Acro-Cats wowed local audiences during a March visit — at least for consenting to perform tricks if not purr-fect execution. Ringmaster Samantha White returns with her circus of talented and sometimes fickle felines. They ride skateboards, leap from great heights, traipse across tightropes and more. The troupe is touring its Halloween-themed show, and the cat rock band will play some spooky songs. White formerly trained rats for film and TV scenes, but she switched to rescuing cats from shelters and training them for showbiz. Tickets $15.
