The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Suncoast chapter -- which covers TV markets in Southern states and Puerto Rico -- honored the film in the categories of Documentary Programs and Audio Craft.

a Metairie-based program that helps protect urban trees from construction, disease and other dangers, recently graduated its first class of 57 trained volunteers. Tom Campbell, a state urban forester, and local tree activist Carey Hammett co-founded the program, the first of its kind in Louisiana.
