The University of Orleans,
in our namesake city in France, has provided all-expenses-paid scholarships for more than 30 University of New Orleans students displaced by Hurricane Katrina to study in France. Six students left for the program last September, and 25 more left last week. The program covers trip airfare, tuition, housing and living costs.
