Dr. David G. Kline,

has presented a check for more than $1,200 to Habitat for Humanity after an Òaudience-interactiveÓ run of The Queen of Bingo , starring Becky Allen and Sandy Bravender, raised money for the housing charity last December. During the Ògame,Ó audience members were encouraged to purchase pull-tabs, with the proceeds going to Habitat for Humanity. Skyfire recently invited Habitat representatives to attend a production of É And the Ball and All to receive the donation from Allen.
FEMA,
in releasing the long-awaited standards for building houses in flood-plain areas, invoked a Ò3 feet above gradeÓ mark. While the new standards discourage slab homes built at street level because of their vulnerability to flooding, the standards acknowledge that the onus should be on safer levees more than higher-built homes to protect the area.
