The Big Easy Theater Awards
All the winners from the stage community's big night
The Big Easy Theater Awards were held March 26 at a black-tie ceremony at Harrah's New Orleans. Winners were announced in 26 categories, and three special honors were given out: a Lifetime Achievement Award, Entertainer of the Year and a Business Recognition Award.
Actor Jamie Wax hosted the gala, which featured performances by many of the nominated artists and shows. Barbara Motley, founder of the St. Charles cabaret venue Le Chat Noir, served as the Honorary Theater Chairperson.
