A tribute to 1930s string band The Tennessee Chocolate Drops and innumerable roots musicians, The Carolina Chocolate Drops — an old-timey trio from Durham, N.C. — augment their Grammy-winning, pickin’-and-singin’ 2010 debut Genuine Negro Jig (Nonesuch) with ragtime and blues multi-instrumentalist Hubby Jenkins and Carnegie Hall beatboxer Adam Matta.
