The Green Project (2831 Marais St., 945-0240; www.thegreenproject.org) hosts a relief woodcarving workshop with instruction by Daniel Garcia from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 12. Participants will learn to create original wood art carvings from old cabinet doors. The workshop is free for members of The Green Project and $5 for non-members.
