The Harlem Globetrotters

The sporting showmanship of the Harlem Globetrotters has been going steady since 1927 when fans began flocking to see the team trounce all opponents with humor, acrobatics and well-choreographed trickery. In 80 years, the razzle-dazzle hasn't changed much, except that now hip-hop tracks play alongside their signature 'Sweet Georgia Brown." One of only six teams to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, the Globetrotters have spun their signature red, white and blue basketballs in more than a 100 countries. Tickets $20. — Alison Fensterstock
