Brooklyn's Urban Bush Women kick off Newcomb College Institute's "Power Lines: Women Transform the Grid" summit with a free performance. The contemporary dance troupe incorporates text and multimedia to explore cultural issues relating to women, spirituality and the African Diaspora. The summit addresses a wide array of gender issues relating to art, politics and culture.
