Set in an 1883 mansion designed by famed architect Thomas Sully for top U.S. cigar manufacturer Simon Hernsheim, this hotel lounge offers a romantic atmosphere and an air of history. Hernsheim made deals for his company at the bar, which now serves a menu of Sazeracs, mint juleps, Bloody Marys, beer, wine and more. Tapas and bistro fare are available. Open daily. Soft-shell crab is served with applewood-smoked bacon, Roma tomatoes, baby lettuce and brioche toast with tartar sauce and balsamic-cane molasses.
