Wine of the Week

8.99

Yes, that Francis Coppola. Although he takes winemaking seriously, this blend of Chardonnay, Malvasia, Muscat and Riesling grapes is easier to swallow than some of his more famous cinematic moments. The off-dry Bianco smells like roses would if they grew on orange trees and leaves traces of lemon and herbs behind to entertain the palate. It makes a fine table wine or aperitif; enjoy it with seafood paella, curries or even barbecue chicken wings. Found at Antonio's Wine Cellar, Dorignac's, Foodies Kitchen, Hugh's Wine Cellar, Langenstein's, Martin Wine Cellar and Vieux Carré Wine & Spirits. -- Roahen
