Wine of the Week 

A fifth-generation winemaking family, Johann Topf creates first-rate Gruner Veltliner in cellars dating back to 1648. Topf's Strassertal combines grapes sourced from more than 60 separate vineyards near the village of Strass in the premium Kamptal region. The lots are vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel, then blended into this crisp, fresh, medium-bodied wine from Austria's signature grape. The color of straw with clean, minerally aromatics, expect citrusy, steely flavors and a lively acidity. An excellent aperitif. Good with fresh seafood, mild cheeses and pate.
