Since the calendar is on the verge of Valentine's Day, why not share a bottle of sparkling rosé with your date? This sparkler from the Calistoga cellars of Schramsberg is an absolute delight — elegant and well balanced with finesse to spare. A blend of 58 percent Pinot Noir and 42 percent Chardonnay, the wine emits a fine effervescence and toasty, pear, citrus and tropical fruit aromas. On the palate, bright flavors of tangy raspberry and cranberry lead to a refreshing finish. A very food-friendly wine that you can enjoy with sushi, rock shrimp, roasted or jerked chicken, barbecue ribs, desserts and mild cheeses. Where to buy it: The Wine Seller and Dorignac's.
