Trentino, part of the Trentino-Alto Adige district, is Italy's northern-most wine-producing region. A sub-zone of the Valdadige appellation, Trentino's non-contiguous vineyards run north to south, paralleling the Adige River. Bollini's hillside vineyards and cool, highland climate are ideal for producing aromatic Pinot Grigio with excellent varietal character. With a delicate yet crisp and fruity style, the wine offers a perfumed bouquet of subtle floral notes, lemon rind and minerals followed by apple, peach, melon and grapefruit flavors with hazelnut nuances and a slight flinty quality. It's also got good acidity. Enjoy it as an aperitif or with boiled seafood, picnic fare or light pasta dishes. Where to buy it
