Big plans for rapper Curren$y: The sky high New Orleans MC just inked a deal with Warner Bros. and is readying a Pilot Talk III and Muscle Car Chronicles. He'll release an EP with The Alchemist on April 19, then kick off a North American tour starting in New Orleans on, uh, April 20. Check out the Muscle Car Chronicles trailer (for both the album and film) here.

The Del McCoury Band's collaboration with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, American Legacies, will be released April 12 via McCoury Music and Preservation Hall Recordings. Stream it here. Here's a taste:
