Watch Lafayette astro-pop outfit GIVERS cover Paul Simon's "That Was Your Mother" with Dickie Landry, below. It's the first cover in a series for the 25th anniversary of Simon's Graceland. The anniversary release is June 5, and the video series will officially kick off May 29.

One of XXL magazine's 2012 top "freshman", rapper Future is at House of Blues at 8 p.m. tonight. Stream the Atlanta rapper's latest track "Same Damn Time" here. Dee-1 also is on the bill — watch the New Orleans MC's video for "Ridin' By Myself," with MURS and Syreeta Neal, below.

Caddywhompus guitarist Chris Rehm released an eight-track ambient album [i found an] Elephant Ring [and gave it to you]stream it here. It'll be available to download May 29.

Tomorrow at 10 p.m., Quintron & Miss Pussycat perform a homecoming show with Lost Bayou Ramblers. Download "Chatterbox," a Quintron classic, performed by Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys on their Grammy-nominated Grand Isle. Continuing his Cajun bender, Quintron performs with Lost Bayou Ramblers, whose latest album, Mammoth Waltz, features tracks with Scarlett Johansson, Dr. John, Gordon Gano and others — stream the title track here, and download "Le Reveil de la Louisiane" here.

Sunday, Southern Lord's Bay Area metal duo Black Cobra performs at 10 p.m. Grab the track "Negative Reversal" here.
