Lafayette's Feufollet headlines One Eyed Jacks (615 Toulouse St.) tonight with Tess Brunet & the Black Orchids and Sirens. The show is at 10 p.m. Tickets $10.

Feufollet (which recently shared the stage at Howlin' Wolf with comedians Tim & Eric) grew up with and into traditional Cajun music but has grown as a workhorse rock band, roots and all. Since its 2010 album En Couleurs, it has added keyboardist Andrew Toups of power pop outfit Brass Bed and Kelli Jones-Savoy, a North Carolina native whose vocals and multi-instrumental talents have boosted the band's honky-tonk, rock-flexible profile. The band anticipates to release another full-length album soon.

Tess Brunet, a singer-songwriter who has performed as Au Ras Au Ras (a veteran of the 2012 class of Gambit's artists to watch) and as a member of Generationals and deadboy & the Elephmentmen, has reemerged with her Black Orchids, featuring bassist Patrick Hodgkins, Brass Bed's Jonny Campos and drummer Pat Fee. Get to know the band below:

is singers and ukulele-ists Kimberly Vice and Michelle Ausman, whose debut Blossom Talk (Community Records) is a soulful mix of haunting duets and folk-inspired bedroom pop.
