After that, the Bearkats were in trouble the rest of the night. Here's how the scoring went for the Tigers.

News and notes

Freshman Brandon Harris, Leonard Fournette, Malachi Dupre & Darrell Williams each scored their first collegiate touchdown.

Middle Linebacker DJ Welter caused a fumble that led to a touchdown.

LSU missed a PAT and also had one blocked. However, the blocked PAT was negated due to Sam Houston State being offsides on the play.

LSU has scored 10 TD's this year and 9 of them have come from either a freshman or sophomore.

13 true freshmen have played for LSU in the 2 games this season.
