The Indywood Theatre will present Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter as it's second Bike-In outdoor screening this Friday, July 3, in the vacant lot at the corner of St. Claude Ave. and Feliciana Street, next to the Saturn Bar. Director David Zellner's Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter is an award-winning indie film inspired by the urban legend of Takako Konishi, who purportedly left Japan for the American Midwest to search for the buried treasure depicted in the Coen Brothers' Fargo, believing the film to be a documentary.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for the 8:30 p.m. screening. Tickets are $5 or $7 (with folding chair) and are available here.
