Indywood will host the first of several planned public discussions on recent changes to the Louisiana film tax credit program tonight, August 14, at 6 p.m. at the Old Edison Building, 614 Gravier Street in the CBD. Leading the discussion will be consultant Sherri "Mac" McConnell, one of the architects of HB 829, a film tax credit bill that was transformed on the floor of the state legislature before passage. The discussion will be followed by a screening of seven award-winning short films from the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. The discussion is free, and tickets to the screening are $7 and are available here.
