English post-punks Public Image Ltd. will kick off a 20-date North American tour on Halloween at the 2015 Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans. The festival also added provocative electronic artist Peaches, Canadian indie-pop band Metric, electronic producer Steve Angello, and singer-songwriter Ruby Amanfu. The festival is Oct. 30-Nov. 1 in City Park and features headliners Ozzy Osbourne, Florence + The Machine and many others — check the lineup here.

John Lydon — or Johnny Rotten, the Sex Pistol, butter salesman and would-be King Herod in a New Orleans revival of Jesus Christ Superstar — and his PiL released This Is PiL in 2012, the band's first release in nearly two decades. The band will release its follow-up, What the World Needs Now..., in September. Watch the NSFW video for the single "Double Trouble" below.

"All I have ever done is speak my mind as accurately as possible. I am opinionated, with a great deal of knowledge and content — rather than just opinions. I have never done anything just for scandal's sake. But for some odd reason that always seems to be firmly attached to me," Lydon told Gambit in 2012. "I look at my life and it's kind of an irony really ... All I've ever really tried to do is communicate honestly to my fellow other human beings. My songs are usually self-analysis and finding out faults in myself and sharing those with others — and attacking social systems that create inequality and victimize the human race."

In a statement announcing the band's tour and Voodoo performance, Lydon said, "All you Voodoo people would do best to bring a gas mask. I'm going to fart continuously. P.S: I want to see Donald Trump misrepresented with the greatest possible glee throughout New Orleans on Halloween night."

Ruby Amanfu and Metric perform Friday, Oct. 30; Angelo, Peaches and PiL perform Saturday, Oct. 31.

Tickets are on sale now at worshipthemusic.com — single day tickets are $73; three-day general admission is $175; three-day Loa VIP admission is $525.
