Disproving Bobby Jindal's lies

Posted By on Sun, Aug 30, 2015 at 12:22 PM

This morning (Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015) on CBS' "Face the Nation," Gov. Bobby Jindal once again repeated the lie that he cut the Louisiana state budget by 26 percent — and laid off 30,000 "bureaucrats" while governor. Nothing could be further from the truth, yet network TV anchors and talk-show hosts blithely let him get away with that lie.

That's what Jindal is hoping for: that his lie will gain currency among the media and, by extension, the public. The truth is not that difficult to discern. It's right there in the numbers of Jindal's own administration via the Louisiana Division of Administration, which keeps budget records for the state.

The only "real" numbers pertaining to Bobby Jindal are zero, less than 1, and 2. Those are consistently the numbers that he scores in survey and survey of Republican voters in Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and all across America. His presidential campaign is going nowhere, and he's getting increasingly desperate.

The voters of Louisiana have caught wise to Bobby Jindal's lies. Judging by the GOP poll numbers elsewhere, it appears the rest of America has caught on to him as well.

The attached one-page document says it all. Download. Print. Disseminate.
