For its eighth annual music festival, New Orleans-based record label Community Records spreads the wealth over two days on Freret Street. The 2015 Block Party lineup leans heavily on veterans from Community's roster, with dreamy riff makers Woozy, punk supergroup All People and pop-punks Donovan Wolfington, among others, filling two bills at Gasa Gasa and Sisters in Christ (4920 Freret St.) on Oct. 24-25.

Woozy, Ratboys, All People, Gnarwhal, Stuck Lucky, Pope and Neat perform 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23.

The festival returns 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 with Ex-Breathers, Donovan Wolfington, Sexy Dex and the Fresh, Ben Katzman's Degreaser, Matt Wixson's Flying Circus, Boyfriend Material, Signals Midwest, Timeshares, Kal Marks, Safety and Gland.

A pre-festival show at 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct 22 at Hey! Cafe (4332 Magazine St.) features New Lands, Keeping and Fishplate.

Weekend passes are $25 (including Thursday's show); Thursday's show is $5; Friday tickets are $15; Saturday tickets are $20. Tickets are available online.
