Robert Plant
hits the road this spring on an 11-city tour through the south for his "Blues... Roots and Hollers" tour. The Led Zeppelin frontman & the Sensational Space Shifters — who last performed in New Orleans at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts in 2013, which included Plant's pre-show harmonica jam at BJ's Lounge — head to Baton Rouge on March 10 and Shreveport on March 11. The band's latest album is 2014's lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar (Nonesuch Records).

Plant is accompanied by garage rock legends The Sonics, the Washington state protopunk rock 'n' rollers. The band released its first album in 40 years, This Is The Sonics, in 2015.

The tour also include stops at Florida's Okeechobee Music Festival and Austin City Limits. Tickets are available online.
