Prytania screens A Streetcar Named Desire this weekend

The 30th anniversary Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival is than two weeks away, which means it's time for the city to rekindle its love for one of its favorite adopted sons. The Prytania Theatre will screen Elia Kazan's classic 1951 adaptation of Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire on Sunday, March 20 and Wednesday March 23 at 10 a.m. The film stars Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando and remains one of the finest literary adaptations ever produced by Hollywood. Tickets are $5.75 and available here.
