Re: “Roger Goodell: Person of the Year?

Not to mention the fact that hits like the one Whitner laid on PT in the playoffs last year and (doubled) on Lance Moore this year are not only legal but replayed and celebrated. It's a crock. Thanks for calling out the Thursday games, I've felt that way since the beginning and very few in the media point out the problems with them.

Re: “Scapegoating the Saints

"If you think New Orleans isn't full of bandwagon fans you're on some good drugs. " Well, in some ways that's fair. I remember when we got mocked for having season tickets and home games were blacked out but that was never because of a lack of passion, it was frustration with, and a protest of, a badly run team. The Dome Patrol Saints did very well, while the Pats, even in 86, were ignored. Kraft saved them. Maybe Katrina did save the Saints because for the first time people realized what it would be like without them. We've sold out every game since and I expect we will for the forseeable future. There should be some Pats fans expressing sympathy for us, not playing the f-word and Aints cards here.

Re: “Scapegoating the Saints

Man, another yankee troll, do they breed anyone with a brain up there? Why are the bags a big deal? They were a protest of the quality of the team, not a dislike of the team itself, a fun self mockery, or is that too subtle a difference? We can use the term Aints. you can't. Saints fans have supported the team despite some of the worst coaching, drafting and on field performance in history. And yep, I had to live in Boston for 4 long, nasty years, no one went to Pats games, Celtics, Sox and Bruins all came first. Rhode Island wanted the stadium more than Boston did, remember that? No cheap shots have been shown, or anything illegal. Where are the players whose careers we destroyed? The Pats defense is dirtier than the Saints, and more effective, unfortunately, even though they ranked below us.

Re: “Scapegoating the Saints

Oh love these comments by the Pats fans that wouldnt even watch their team until they started winning and then, suddenly, theyve been fans forever. What crap. Go back and watch the Bruins. The whole bounty thing is because of money and salary cap issues, not because the Saints cheated or committed any more personal fouls or dirty hits than any other team, if the Saints had been out to viciously cheap shot anyone it would be on tape and fines would have come out before now. Not like Detroit, or Titans, or Woodson punching D Thomas in the balls. Cheating is quite different, and that's the specialty of New England and we all know it. Before you say they should take the Saints entire draft and 'geaux fuck yourself', think how proud your mama would be of that kind of hypocrisy. I forgot, they don't teach manners in New England.
