Re: “Why Bobby Jindal will never, ever be president: Part 3 in a series

Even if he is gearing up for a run 6 years or more from now, an additional problem will be what will he do to stay in the limelight once his term as gov expires? Only potential high profile seat would be if Vitter runs for gov, and wins, Jindal could run for Vitter's senate seat. But, unless things change dramatically, its unlikely Jindal could win a statewide election.

Re: “‘Neck-deep in politics’

Doody is a traitor to the citizens of this state, and I do not use that word loosely. He is abandoning us in order to keep his position on the board. Hassinger - I know him and am shocked by his utter contempt for our intelligence. These bastards should move out of state i\f they think so little of the rest of us.

  • Conflicts galore

The local flood protection board could vote to abandon its lawsuit against 97 oil, gas and pipeline companies this Thursday. That would be the biggest sellout since Huey Long gave his pals the mineral rights to Louisiana's water bottoms. Unless, of course, enough people rise up to stop this insanity.
