Thank you, Chris Rose. John was family, truly. His wife is my first cousin. When my daughter was in grammar school, (she's 25 now, loved to draw and still does), and we happen to be in the shop, they would tell her to "pick something out". She had a cardboard box that contained all of her supplies. She had colored pencils of every shade, all the crayons a child could want, drawing tablets, paints. You name it, she had it. That was John Ward. Kind, giving, and sometimes, downright funny. I will miss John, his kindness, his face, always with a smile and yes, even his sarcasm. I get sad about the situation, but all of my thoughts and memories of John are happy ones. Again, thank you for this article. It is so.....John.
