Band of Horses' billowing 2010 album Infinite Arms (Fat Possum), its third overall and first apart from Pacific Northwest launching pad Sub Pop, completed the band's transition from Seattle stargazers to South Carolina trailblazers: opening international tours for Pearl Jam and Snow Patrol and charting in the top 10 in six countries.
