Cork & Bottle owner Jon Smith so enjoyed a recent concert by Deer Tick — aka 22-year-old John J. McCauley III and friends — he booked the young Brooklynite for a rare open Monday at his bar. The 2007 debut War Elephant (Partisan) is the best album Ryan Adams never made, a marvel of barnyard guitar, hopscotch drums and whisky-drowned wails. The Deep Vibrations open. Free admission.
