Elicit

The multi-media performance Elicit combines dance, theater and video installations in an exploration of female identity. The sometimes surreal piece examines boundaries, stereotypes and perceptions of women as they are generated, resisted, internalized and deliberated upon, touching on topics like beauty, glamour, motherhood, fear, love, anger, repression, anxiety and humor. Directed by Eddy Villalta. A student-only preview will be held Wednesday, Nov. 1, for $5. Tickets $18 general admission, $15 CAC members. -- Will Coviello
