I've been following this chef for over 10 years, and I have NEVER been disappointed with anything that comes out of his kitchen. He's a genius who puts out innovative, delicious, real food. As decadent as the food tastes, I leave the comfortable, cozy Silk Road feeling clean, like I did something good for myself, even if I have dessert, too. This food can stand on its own feet. What is with New Orleanians and their bread? I mean, so what if you don't get bread if the food is fantastic? Cry me a river! "Yes, I'll have some bread to sop up my sauce instead of Moroccan couscous or fragrant jasmine rice." ??? This article mentions "poboys" several times at the beginning, which is no where near an accurate representation of the creative, delicious dishes the menu boasts. Would you like some bread with your breaded shrimp on French bread?
