Re: “Scorn on the Bayou: Struggles of Bayou Boogaloo

I am very sad to read this article.Gambit...shame..shame..shame..yall must be desparate for a story or one of these witch's put you up to it.I am the owner of a very well established restaurant in Mid-City and also a vendor at all of the Boogaloo's.Jared is an organizer and with a dream to do nothing but good for this city he loves so much.I've noticed that the people of New Orleans and surrounding areas have really enjoyed the B.B. it has given them a way of celebrating the festival and forgetting about the "K" word if you know what I mean.We hear it everyday.
As far as business goes I'm sure if you dig deep enough in any business or fund raising foundation you'll find something, twist it around a few times and you'll think something is wrong.Look at the "Lighthouse" rebuilding they could of built a dozen of them by now.
And last...the first 2 B.B.'s were awesome the 2008 B.B. was a cluster -uck Jared should never put those girls in charge of anything
Trixie thought she owned the boogaloo monies were paid to her that still have'nt surfaced and Julie didn't know her ass from a hole in the ground. They were running around the festival contradicting each other (she said...you said...they said...)It was a joke. They had enough food vendors we could of done the Jazz Fest.
It's ashame that yall couldn't get the story from the horses mouth B4 you print something as slander as this.Well Gambit I have to say that I'm going to remove my ad,remove your paper and the stand that holds them.
LONG LIVE THE BOOGALOO
