Attendees can sample a dozen chilis prepared by chefs and amateur cooks. There's a DJ and NOLA Brewing beers are sold. Admission $5.

King Cake Festival

11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday
Champions Square, 1 Lasalle St., (504) 587-3663
The free event features king cake samples, a stroller fun run around the Superdome, a $10 kids' zone and live music. Proceeds benefit pediatric and neonatal programs at Ochsner.
