International Jazz Day at Congo Square 

Mon. April 30 | International Jazz Day begins with a free concert at Congo Square at sunrise (7 a.m.). UNESCO cultural ambassador Herbie Hancock will lead an all-star ensemble and then fly to New York. Participants include Terence Blanchard, Ellis Marsalis, Dianne Reeves, Kermit Ruffins, the Treme Brass Band and others.
