Re: “There was a restaurant in the French Quarter during the early 1980s with themed dining rooms. What was its name?

I remember eating there when I was in high school, with my parents and another couple. Our table had all sorts of food (beans, corn, okra, etc.) embedded in it. Our hostess was Carmen Miranda. I don't remember who our waiter was, but I do remember the bathroom was wallpapered in men's magazines. I also remember several cool tables. One had it's reverse counterpart upside-down above it. I don't recall what all the adults at the table ordered, but I remember ordering the shark, because it was about the least expensive thing on the menu, and my step father was already not real happy going to such an outrageous place. I thought Anything Goes was an amazing restaurant, and have told many people about it over the years. I wish it (or some place like it) was still around.
