Beignet Fest features traditional as well as creative sweet and savory beignets. Ruby Slipper Cafe offers smoked pork debris with beignets and a bananas Foster version. Howlin' Wolf Den returns with last year's top savory beignet, which is filled with bacon and cheddar cheese and served with chipotle crema. Old School Eats loads Louisiana's square doughnut with blackberry compote and whipped goat cheese. Loretta's Authentic Pralines serves crabmeat-stuffed beignets. Girls Gone Vegan offers gluten-free doughnuts and brownies. There also is jambalaya, gumbo, fruit, smoothies, sno-balls and more.

Brass-A-Holics, John Papa Gros Band, One Love Brass Band and Hill Country Hounds perform. There are kids' activities, an art market and a beer garden. Proceeds support the Tres Doux Foundation, which assists children with developmental delays. Free admission.
