Derek Smalls with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra

April 14 | Harry Shearer's cucumber-stuffed Spinal Tap bassist celebrates his 75th birthday with the release of soul-searching solo album Smalls Change (Meditations Upon Ageing), with hard rock odes to erectile dysfunction, butt dialing and Smalls' earnest attempts to answer what it all means. The character performs with the LPO at 7:30 p.m. at the Saenger Theatre.
