Re: “Is New Orleans worth it?

New Orleans is my home and where my heart will always be. But I packed my husband with three degrees, myself with a college degree and our two babies up and moved out of the state bc the view of "getting ahead" in life was no where near. Buying a home in a safe neighborhood was basically unattainable, hoping to make more money was not looking possible and public school was not an option. With student loans that will be like family for the next 30 years, the thought of $10k for kindergarten and up just made me sick. I hate that we had to leave and again I will miss it daily but the opportunities, safety and education is not close to what other places can offer. But everywhere is truly vanilla, oh how I miss it

Re: “House Bill 587, sponsored by Metairie Rep. John LaBruzzo, would classify abortion in Louisiana as feticide, with criminal penalties for any individual performing an abortion. Do you support this proposed law?

Let everyone decide for themselves!!!!!!!! As for you "Loux" I am someone suffering from fertility issues and not able to have children "naturally" and am looking into adoption. I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with your statement. There are SO many unwanted children out there and bad parents. Let each person decide for themselves. I am not saying that I approve of an abortion as birth control BUT i do NOT feel that b/c one might choose an abortion they should face "criminal penalties" everyone has their story and until you walk in their shoes, YOU and no CONGRESSMEN, should be able to make that decision for me or anyone else.
