Starbucks apologizes for symbols in Baton Rouge coffee

"We have sincerely apologized for her experience. This obviously is not the type of experience we want to provide any of our customers, and is not representative of the customer service our partners provide to millions of customers every day."

— Starbucks "social media team spokesman" Tom Kuhn, in a statement apologizing to Louisiana schoolteacher Megan Pinion. Pinion's coffee drinks at a Mall of Louisiana Starbucks arrived with what she said were Satanic symbols: a five-sided star, or pentagram, along with the numbers "666" drizzled on top. "We're not sure who served her or what kind of beverage it was," Kuhn told The Daily Advertiser. "It looks sort of caramel-ish in the photos."
