"Matthew Brady used the wet collodion process during the Civil War to almost single-handedly invent photojournalism with his dramatic battlefield photographs." Ummm... no. Talbot and Bayard were documenting London and Paris architecture and construction in the early 1840's. Carol Szathmari photographed the Crimean War starting in 1853. Brady stayed in his studio and hired others to photograph the U.S. Civil War in the mid-1860's.
