when code enforcer go into tenant home and find illegal drugs, or illegal activities in the tenant home, is it the responsibility of the City Code Enforcer to report this to the police ? Are the home owner protected against a LawSuit, if filed by tenant, saying we violated their Constitutional fourth amendment right, by letting the Code Enforcer come in their home without their permission. I think the city counsel is setting the city up for a major Lawsuit. The Court have rule in other cities, going into tenant home to do city code inspection is illegal ,especially without a consent. Tenant is not aware of the can of worms that are going to be expose,
