In Memory, Dr. Taylor Briggs journeys into the Amazon to discover something hidden deep in his own past. An expert on certain brain diseases that affect memory, he is accidentally exposed to a mysterious powder that evokes terrifying hallucinations of a killer stalking young girls. As the visions go on, he starts to wonder if they are more familiar than he first thought. Could the killer be someone who shares his genes? Bennett Joshua Davlin created the story as a novel, adapted it for the screen and directed the film. The cast includes Billy Zane, Dennis Hopper, Ann-Margret, Tricia Helfer and Terry Chen. The screening benefits NOCCA. Davlin, Ann-Margret, Helfer, Chen and other guests will be at the opening reception, which begins at 6 p.m., followed by the screening at 7 p.m. A black-tie dinner follows at 9 p.m. at the Windsor Court. Tickets $50 reception and screening, $500 reception/screening/dinner. -- Will Coviello
