Comic Con welcomes fans of movies, comics, graphic novels, video games, anime, manga, toys and assorted pop cultural interests. The weekend event features comics legend Stan Lee (Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four), Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Eliza Dushku, Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill), LeVar Burton (Roots, Star Trek: The Next Generation), Kevin Sorbo (Hercules), Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Beverly Hills, 90210), Gates McFadden (Star Trek: The Next Generation), WWE wrestling star CM Punk, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman, many comics creators and artists, illustrators, fan groups and more. Most special guests are available to sign autographs and pose for pictures (but ask first). Costuming is highly encouraged and there is a contest. Actual weapons are not allowed, and costume weapons will be inspected. Daily tickets $35-$40, three-day pass $70 in advance, $80 at the door. — Will Coviello
