Private Eyes

Nothing is quite what it seems in Private Eyes, a new who-dunnit comedy from the recently formed Golden Eagle Theatre Company. The audience plays detective as the convoluted relationships between married actors Matthew and Lisa, Adrian the director, Frank the therapist and a mysterious woman reveal ever more complicated twists in a play within a play within a play. The production is a part of Southern Rep's City Series, which promotes local independent theater companies. Southern Rep hosts a post-show party after the July 18 staging (admission $5). Andrew Elliott directs Keith Launey, Liz Mills, Staci Robbins, Angela Papale, and Leon Contavesprie in this comedy of suspicion. Tickets $20. — Allison Good
