Don your most dapper bow tie and head to the Benachi House for a night of cocktails, music, and fun at the annual Bow Tie Bash on April 27. The fundraiser promises to keep you movin’ and groovin’ all night with live entertainment and plenty of refreshments to go around. General Admission tickets are just $50 and proceeds support the Food for Friends program, a division of NO/AIDS Task Force, which delivers meals to cancer and HIV clients who are unable to prepare meals for themselves.
Why bow ties?
Chet Pourciau was a long-time supporter of NO/AIDS Task Force and an avid bow tie collector. When he passed away in 2015 after being diagnosed with lymphoma, CrescentCare launched the annual fundraiser to honor Chet and immortalize his contributions to NO/AIDS Task Force. Now, when spring comes around, attendees are asked to celebrate Chet’s life by donning his favorite signature attire: the bow tie! Women are encouraged to wear a bow tie as well, or their favorite springtime hat.
